Name: Lola-May [ Original Post ] So I need to vent. My husband acted like a huge baby this morning and I'm pissed off about it. We're having our first snowfall right now so he says he's going to take my truck to work instead of his car. Fine. No problems there. Then he tells me that he saw a truck for $3500 that he wants to get for "a reliable winter vehicle". I said "We don't have any money right now." So he goes into a hissy fit about it. "FINE! I just wont have a reliable fucking vehicle to drive in the winter then!" Which he yells right in front of our 22 month old son. Good one. I of course tell him to watch his language. He then comes out of the bathroom saying "I'm going to have to borrow the truck a lot this winter then." I just shook my head. If you guys could have heard the tone in his voice. Ugh, it's like having an argument with a six year old girl. So I asked him why his car was fine last winter but not this winter(which so far is less harsh). He gets all steamed up and whines "Because the car is way crappier than last year!" So I asked what happened to the original plan for a new vehicle.(which was pay off the loan we have out then take one out for $10,000 for a newer truck for winter) He didn't answer me, he just kept whining and saying he was going to take the truck a lot this winter. Which is nice you know, leave the more "unreliable" vehicle for your pregnant wife and toddler son to drive. Awesome. So I said again that we don't have the money for it right now and pointed out that he himself keeps pointing out how we don't have a lot of money right now. Enough money for him to get drunk on the weekend but God forbid I ask for a fucking bagel and cream cheese. So then he gets really condescending and says "Yeah,well that's why we take out a loan. That's what loans are for, to borrow money." So I very calmly turned to him and said "Please don't talk to me like I'm stupid in front of our child. No wonder Silas has no respect for me and doesn't listen to me. He sees daddy talking to mommy like she's an idiot so she must be an idiot. So of course I get the half assed "I'm sorry I spoke to you like that." To which I replied "Yeah well you do it a lot so stop it." So of course he then gets huffy again and leaves for work. Seriously. If he's giving me a hard time about how winter is the slow season and he doesn't make as much in the winter when I ask if he can get me a bagel and cream cheese on his way home, how come we can afford to take out a loan for a new vehicle? Doesn't make sense to me. He gets a lot of ideas in his head that cost a lot of money. He needs to learn that now that he's a husband and a father, that it's not all about him and he can't just go making decisions like that on his own. I'm so frustrated right now. ↓

LMAO!!!!! sorry i laugh, but are you sure we're not married to the same man? ha ha well i know how the snow is here...we get a bit and then a day later, the roads are bare. no problem to drive a car on. maybe on the days that the roads ARE bad, you could drive him to work, and either he could get a ride home, or you could pick him up. if the roads aren't bad he can take the car. ???? cause i know the roads aren't bad ALL winter...it's just the first day or two while it's snowing...then it's ok until it snows again.... just a thought. lol... and yes...i can never figure out why I can't get a sweater or new winter boots for myself so i don't freeze to death, but SURE.....let buy a 26 of vodka one night....then a case of beer the next night.....hmmmmm.... well i just took hubby's bank card the other day and bought what i wanted... ha ha...i said oh btw....i put about 80 dollars on your card today!! ha ha. ↑

I know, men are hilarious. It's not like I have anywhere I 'need' to go during the day so I could care less if he wants to use the truck. Fuck, take the insurance off of the Cadillac then and we can share the truck and save money. Sell the damn car for all I care! It's a hunk of crap and it guzzles gas. He just turns into such a baby about things and doesn't fight fair. I can handle an argument if it's done right but he goes and over exaggerates and makes shit up which frustrates the piss right out of me. Ugh. Oh well. I can't change him which is why I keep my shit together and then vent about it on here. Ha ha ha! ↑

we don't even have 2 vehicles. we just have one. it's a fkin' '92 Ford Taurus...OH YEAH BABY!!! real fkin' hot rod. ha hah a. we put some winter tires on it and it works just fine and dandy. i take him to work in the morning...and I either pick him up from work, or if he's working past our kids bedtime, he gets a ride home from a friend. we don't even have a fkin' truck. ↑
