ugh..yeah i read that earlier today and cried....that is soo sooo sooooooooooo sad.
i don't understand. if you can't stand your baby THAT much to the point where you'd TOTURE him/her....just give him/her up to a family who will be patient enough and loving enough and give the poor innocent baby a chance!!!!
i forgot to close the page after reading it and my hubby also read it. he was absolutely enraged and disgusted.
i hope the parents get what's comin' to them. but you know, lets just say for some odd chance she DOES get off.....there will be so many people out there that hate her so much she will WISH she was in prison. ↑ |

Bmes theres not much to understand about people like this.... in there selfish sick brain its easier to torture and kill a baby than it is to find him / her a loving home.... most sickos that can do this to ANYONE and not feel bad actually find it fun..... they should not EVER be let out into society again..... they dont give a shit about other people. and are more than likely to do it over and over again !!

I'm disgusted......though i'm angry at the way certain papers have made out social services....as there were failings from EVERY one...the police, the doctors, everyone! Social services reccomdendations were ignored in some cases!
My grandparents are very anti-social workers and....really disagree with me wanting to go down that route. However they grit their teeth and still gave me money towards tuition fees....however they have just asked me to pay it all back, or drop off the course.
I would be stupid to drop off so am paying them back piece by piece. Im disgusted they think they can treat me like this because of mistakes ONE council made. I had nothing to do with it! Yet I am being punished.
Well it's made me even more determined to do it now and stick two fingers up at them, I have secured a sponsorship on the condition i work for them for a minimum of 18 months upon my graduation....so that's exciting! Alot less for me to worry about.
Not many social workers are being hired at the moment...although there's a huge deficiency of them...authorites just aren't hiring as there isn't the money. So Im glad I have a definate job at the end of it.
I will never ever be able to understand why or how a mother can stand by whilst her child suffers the way baby P did. I hope she and the fuckers she was living with die painful deaths and rot in hell for all eternity. They deserve no forgivness or sympathy for making every minute of that baby's life hell. ↑ |

Apparently the mother tortured him too. It's so awful - makes me cuddle Joey closer.
Scary thing is, going to damn prison in the UK is getting off. It's a damn holiday camp, with digital TV, comfy bedrooms, top quality food and healthcare, free education, pool tables, etc.

A lodger who was staying with Baby Peter and his vile family said that the stepfather would smile and laugh when hurting the baby; he got a sick pleasure out of it. ↑ |

This is absolutely disgusting!! That poor baby! I don;t understand what kind of sick, twisted human being could do this to their own child...
With all due respect Nicolaa, I'm sure you will be wonderfull at your job, and I know people that work with social services but in some cases social services is a joke! They tried to let that monster keep her other child??!! WTF?? Social Services really pisses me off sometimes....Where I live is rediculous...Perfectly good mothers will get their child taken away because of some idiot who calls Social Services on them for a simple bum rash and they have to fight to get their child back. While dead beat parents who have been SEEN beating their children MIGHT get their child taken away but they will get them back within 2 days! It's SICK!!
A girlfriend of mine had her child in daycare when an employee called child welfare (social services)for a bum rash, she had her baby taken away for 2 weeks until child welfare brought baby to a doctor and the doctor told them baby was FINE and that it was absolutely rediculous to take this gils baby from her....Now another one of my friends' mom was beating up all 3 of her girls aged 15, 12, and 5!! She was witnessed by SOCIAL SERVICES, they were there politly asking her to stop, not calling the police, nothing! They then took the girls (after she was done beating them up) put the 2 oldest in lockdown (kinda like a group home where everyone is on suicide watch, so they can`t even go to the bathroom or take a bath without being supervised) (the girls had no reason being there!) The youngest girl was put in a foster home - they were all gone from their mother for 2 days then returned home by child welfare!!!
That stuff is so sad! The oldest girls have since took the yougest girls and left the house - they are older now but have to raise their youngest sister because they dont trust their mother not to beat her again! And they can no longer trust social services to do anything. That was only one instance, child welfare had been called on more than one occasion but didn`t do anything!
Of course, baby P`s case is soooo much more horrible, I couldn`t hold back the tears as i read his story and I felt sick to my stomach reading all the horrible things his parents had done to him. I hope they get what they deserve!!!!! ↑ |

Yes I understand there were failings by social services and I'm sorry that Baby P lost his life as a result.
However.....incidences of this nature are so rare. (thank god).
Social services may have failed Victoria Climbie and Baby P (two British cases that have made headlines in the past 8 yrs)....but its wrong to criticise the entire social services system for they do alot more good than they do bad.
You could say that every time a crime is committed...that the police are failing... ↑ |

I do agree. Social services were at fault, the doctor who refused to examine Baby P 2 days before he died (even though he had a broken back and broken ribs) was definitely at fault, anyone who witnessed the child being abused or saw bruises and said nothing were at fault. Baby P's father was at fault. I mean why didn't he do or say anything? Where was he in all this, while the stepfather, mother and lodger were abusing his baby?
But the MAIN people who were at fault were his horrible family. I hope to God the legal system in Britain doesn't let victims down like it does SO much, and gives them ALL Life. ↑ |

You're right Nicolaa, that's why I said "in some cases". I've just heard of really bad experiences with Social Services...you don't really hear about the good right?
But this would definately be one of those cases - I just don't understand how you can miss something like that. The poor baby was totally beat up? How do you just shrug that off when your job is to make sure kids are being taken care of and not being abused?? Just crazy to me! Boggles my mind how people can be so careless - not to mention those awful monsters who did this to that baby...The whole story just makes me sooo upset!!!! ↑ |

I totally agree with you Joey's_mam, They should not be protected - not even a little bit!
But you know, I was watching this documentary the other day about child molesters and pedophiles in prison, and how they have to be protected because all of the inmates want them dead - I bet that is what it will be like for them in prison. IMO - they should be treated the way they treaton their son! That would be the ultimate punishment...as brutal as it mnay sound - have someone beat the living shit out of them! Cut of THEIR fingers, break THEIR ribs, throw THEM around, beat THEM to death!! Thats what they deserve! ↑ |
